  ZERO STARS, not worthy of one.. I was referred to Synergy from the Veterans Administration, what a mistake. The VA had me slated for surgery on February 2nd for a torn femoral muscle and tendon but due to a previous engagement I couldn't have the procedure done and they could not schedule me again until May, long story short they referred me. Initial contact with the receptionist started the downward spiral. I was told I have to get x-rays, which will show nothing(torn muscle), I informed her I was referred from the VA and all of the notes and MRI should have been sent, she then retrieved the records no MRI, I was then told to reschedule for a later date after I had been there well over an hour. I insisted to see the doctor(second mistake). I go to the back another hour of waiting for the doctor, he comes in and manipulates my sore and completely torn quadriceps and says we can't do surgery on a torn quad "it's like trying to stitch a mop." I kept telling him I have a torn tendon and he was trying to rush me out, again my Military persistence kicks in(no pun intended) he then says let me talk to the sports medicine orthopedic, I'm floored. He comes back and says yes you'll probably require surgery but you will have to get another MRI, I told him the VA did MRIs and I will get them, no problem right? Wrong, I drive to beautiful La Jolla VA on a Friday morning from Eastlake an hour and a half pick up the disk and drive back 35 minutes to the office to be told you have to get an MRI from our facility. I'm not a radiology/MRI Tech, but a picture is a picture. Needless to say I walked out called the Veterans Administration, told them to terminate my services with Synergy. doctor Chahda is horrible, I was a sports medicine orthopedic candidate and he's osteo ortho(bone), I guess he stayed at a Holiday Inn Express that night to make the diagnosis he did. Spare yourself don't go there, I actually heard people complaining about the place while I was there and one worked there!!!
